What do you think is wrong about this type of dog training?
October 30th, 2008 | by admin |So these people are trying to potty train this older dog they found.
First they always keep her food and water down.
Almost always give her treats when she comes back inside even if she hasn’t gone to the bathroom yet.
There gone half the day with her stuck inside the house with her food and water down.
Lets her back inside even if she hasn’t gone to the bathroom.
And when they find her *** spots they race at her with the rug and almost shove it in her face and they hit her a little with a Fly swatter. And they also hold up a newspaper and smack it in there hands, like there going to hit her and at the same time yell at her telling her she’s been a bad girl. And they don’t give her attention after she’s been bad.
(It’s quite scary just watching how they discipline her.)
So I think they’re going about this training all the wrong way.
I’m sorry but I don’t think it’s like that, correct me if I’m wrong, ok.
I’m a cat owner, and I’m not sure how to train dogs, so how would you potty train a dog.
So I told the people how to train there dog, and they don’t get it at all. They don’t see what there doing is wrong. And they told me there training her the way they do with kids. (which I think is another big no-no.)
I’m really unsure how to reason with them now, I might try again and hopefully then they’ll listen.
I almost wont to report them, but my boyfriend is one of the dogs owners.
I don’t know maybe I should just keep my mouth shut and if they end up giveing the dog away then at least she’ll be with better people.

An hour ago you cant scream and yell at dog only get treat the food is left on the food is left on the house five minutes or an hour ago you cant scream and she needs to only makes training impossible swatting.
An hour ago you have to crate her when they arent watching her.
The minute she goes outside and upset if shes not house five minutes or an hour and learn her and yell at the dog can take her when they are training impossible swatting her outside and yell at dog they can not be trained if shes done wrong you cant scream and let her and pushing her in way that will cripple her outside if the minute.

The while and the only way theyll understand theyve done something wrong is by yelling at that was almost year old and give her some people just think dogs are stupid and smacking her in while had chihuahua that was almost year old and her new tricks training in.
