rescued an Australian Shepard dog about 9 months old-training tips needed?
November 29th, 2008 | by admin |I rescued an Australian Shepard dog about 9 months old. He is a great dog but very needy and always needs to touch with his paws. He does not jump as much but always puts his paw on you and wants to be as close as possible.
I know nothing about his background just that he was left on the side of the road. He is great with kids and other dogs. I just need some training tips that will work on this not so puppy of a dog.
Thanks!
I would also like for him to become a therapy dog at my school. I also plan to introduce him to our horses. I know very little about this breed and would be grateful for some tips on training my older puppy.
